Housing Authority

The Hankinson Housing Authority was established in 2006 by the City Council to assist with bulding and maintaining a variety of housing options in the community. 

The Housing Authority currently owns and manages two townhomes and has just acquired land for a future housing development on the northeast side of Hankinson.

This new development was named Green Acres as a tribute to the Green family, who came to Hankinson in 1897 and were prominent business owners in the community for many years. Their lasting contributions helped shape Hankinson, and this name honors their legacy while looking toward the future.  This project is an important step toward expanding housing opportunities in our community.
